Angelica Panganiban (born Angelica Panganiban) is an Filipino American actress, model TV host, comic and host. Panganiban is often referred to as the "new Queen of Drama" by a variety of media outlets. She is also recognized as being one of the Philippines the most skilled and versatile actors. The contest ended with a second place, becoming the youngest runner-up ever in the history of the show. Angelica Hale fell ill at age four, suffering from strep throat and pneumonia due to an infection brought on by bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston was forced to place Angelica Hale onto ECMO Life-Support when she urgently required life-saving medical treatments. It was not until her kidneys recovered that she could be saved after she developed an infection with septicae and eventually was diagnosed with several organ malfunctions. Hemodialysis and later peritoneal dialysis was her new norm. Her return home was finally made after eighteen days in hospital, after a time when she was close to death, and began the long road back to healthy. Her life had been forever changed. Angelica, after a year of dialysis and a half, was now ready for the most significant operation of all: the replacement of her kidney. Her mother was the sole person who was able to donate the kidney. Angelica, along with her mom underwent an organ transplant successfully on September 13, 2013 at two amazing hospitals that were located right next to each other - Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale, a young Atlantan girl who always thought of becoming an actor as well as a performer, is still pursuing this dream.
